This project introduced the core functions of ArcGIS Pro, including spatial data navigation, querying, and map design. I created a thematic map of South Carolina counties using data from the National Risk Index, accessed through the ArcGIS Living Atlas. I applied a definition query to isolate South Carolina and used unique value symbology to classify counties by their expected annual loss rating, customizing the color ramp from red (Very High) to blue (Very Low). The final product was a polished map layout, complete with legend and title, exported as a shareable visual for hazard communication and planning.
