About Me
Based in South Carolina, I’m a writer, researcher, and systems thinker focused on health and sustainability. With a foundation in behavioral science, education, and nutrition, my work explores how intergenerational health, ecological stewardship, and systems design intersect across policy, curriculum, and the broader conditions that shape long-term health and societal outcomes. I develop frameworks where compassion, science, and strategy meet, centering my work in resilience, equity, and purpose.
My Approach
As someone who has never fit neatly into one box — academic or personal — I’ve learned to navigate systems while seeing their cracks. This perspective has become my greatest asset.
I approach my work with a sense of responsibility and a quiet conviction. My path hasn’t been linear, but it’s been intentional—shaped by a desire to ask deeper questions, to make meaning from complexity, and to stay rooted in empathy. I’m committed to using research, writing, and public engagement to translate evidence into action that supports more sustainable systems for people, communities, and the natural world.
I explore the intersections of sustainability, public health, and education where systems influence lived experiences, and where small interventions can create lasting impact. I’m interested in how we design programs, curriculum, and policies that prevent harm, nurture resilience, and reflect the dignity of the people they serve.
Resilience, to me, isn’t just survival. It’s remembering what we deserve — as individuals, as communities, and as part of an ecosystem. My work is shaped by both empathy and critical thinking, with a vision toward equity, integrity, sustainability, and reverence for creation.
I hope readers find inspiration through my body of work that reflects a commitment to public service, interdisciplinary thinking, and continuous evolution.
