This project focused on applying raster analysis to model environmental impact scenarios, specifically storm surge. Using elevation raster data for Bull Island, SC, I performed a surface analysis to visualize areas affected by a 4-meter storm surge. I applied raster overlay techniques to identify inundation zones and used geoprocessing tools to quantify the extent of coastal flooding. For an advanced challenge, I overlaid post-2000 hurricane tracks from the ArcGIS Living Atlas to assess storm history in the region. The final output was a risk-focused map showing flood vulnerability under extreme weather conditions, reinforcing the importance of raster-based analysis for climate resilience.
